By accessing and using Writenotes (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Use of AI Services

Writenotes utilizes artificial intelligence to assist with note-taking and summarization.

AI Accuracy: AI-generated content may sometimes be inaccurate or biased. You agree to review all AI output for accuracy before relying on it.

Prohibited Content: You may not use the Service to generate content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, or violates the rights of others.

No Training: We do not use your personal notes to train public AI models.

3. User Accounts and Content

Responsibility: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities that occur under it.

Ownership: You retain full ownership of the notes you create. Writenotes does not claim any intellectual property rights over your data.

Data Loss: While we perform regular backups, we recommend keeping independent copies of critical information.

4. Advertising (AdSense Compliance)

Third-Party Ads: We use Google AdSense to serve advertisements. By using the Service, you acknowledge that Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your interests.

Age Requirement: To comply with AdSense policies and COPPA, you must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Users under 18 must have parental consent.

5. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

  • Attempt to reverse-engineer the AI features or the Writenotes platform.
  • Use automated scripts (bots) to scrape content or create accounts.
  • Use the Service for "thin content" generation intended solely for spamming or ad-revenue manipulation.

6. Limitation of Liability

Writenotes is provided "as is" without any warranties. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to data loss, AI hallucinations, or service interruptions.

7. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify you of major changes via email or a notice on the Service.
